If the engine has not been overheated or otherwise abused, it is unlikely that you are experiencing head gasket failure at 150,000 miles. My guess is that the water pump did not seal to the block correctly. Start the engine and watch the leak....I bet that it is really coming from the pump and then running down the block. Solution Reinstall the waterpump with a new seal.

You would be able to se if it is coming from the top and draining down into the bell housing. Just because you cant see the head gasket leaking from behind doesnt mean the head gasket is not leaking under the intake manifold, or possibly the intake manifold is leaking.
